Hudson Fence Company is a locally owned fence company based in southwest Lubbock. We build new fences, replace worn-out ones, and repair storm-damaged fencing for homeowners, home builders, and businesses across Lubbock and the South Plains. Every fence we build is designed for West Texas wind, and every estimate comes with a detailed written proposal at no charge.
Fencing Built for West Texas Wind
Lubbock wind is hard on a fence, and the weak point is almost always the posts. Wood posts rot at the ground line, and once they go, the fence starts to lean. That's why we build every cedar fence on steel posts, driven 4 ft deep or set 3 ft in concrete. We also pour our own concrete fence curbs to keep pickets out of the grass and away from string trimmers.
Fence Replacement and Repair
Much of our work is replacing old wood fences in Lubbock's established neighborhoods and fencing brand-new backyards in south and southwest Lubbock. We also take on larger fence repairs, including wind and hail damage, leaning sections, rotted wood posts, and damaged gates. When a fence is past saving, we tear it out and rebuild it on steel posts.
